Citrine is a yellow variety of quartz; it has a warm colour which is yellow to brownish, suitable for autumn and it is said to be a gift from the sun. Citrine has been popular for thousands of years and is rare in nature. These days, Citrine is one of the top-selling yellow gemstones due to its fabulous colour, durability and affordability.

Citrine is known as the birthstone of November, the same as Topaz. Citrine and Topaz are both available in yellow colour but Citrine is more durable than Topaz, and also lower in cost. Citrine is considered as a healing and calming gemstone.
